Who we are.
Convento GmbH, based in Neuss on the Rhine, is a medium-sized software company and has been one of the leading providers of IT and management solutions for public and investor relations since the mid-1990s.
Our customers - more than 250 companies and institutions with around 2000 users - optimize and simplify their communication with us. These are companies with their own press offices or financial communications as well as communications agencies of all sizes.

Foundation
of Convento GmbH by Rainer Maassen
Product launch
of a first solution for communication professionals. We called it Convento pr-contact.
Further development
of Convento pr-contact, initially as a client/server solution for customers, later also via the Internet and as a subscription model. We have used it to implement thousands of projects. More than 5000 users in around 750 companies and organizations have used Convento pr-contact.
Implementation as a cloud solution
based on our fifteen years of industry experience. The system needed to be user-friendly and functional. Customers should be able to access it directly via the Internet from our servers in Germany.
myconvento
The first generation of the cloud solution was ready for the market in 2013. In the first year alone, myconvento convinced over 200 companies with more than 2,000 users. And new companies are added every week, making myconvento one of the leading PR management systems in the German-speaking market.
myconvento becomes responsive
The second generation of myconvento underpins our claim to offer the best solution on the market. A new, modern user interface in "Responsive Design" ensures that myconvento runs in all browsers and on all mobile devices.
Big data and artificial intelligence
The "Media Intelligence" extension determines who is the right contact person for a press release and how successful a press release was. For this purpose, the content of all available online and print articles is analyzed for their authors.
Social Media Publishing
The "Storydriver" extends myconvento's ability to plan content in a team and publish it on users' social media channels at the right time.
Clipmanager
The clip manager already included in pr-contact has been completely redeveloped and enhanced with important functions.
